We had the privilege to be invited to the first official World Down Syndrome Day event, held at PGA National Resort. The event was originally planned for March 21st, but was delayed due to bad weather. Let me say that the weather was absolutely perfect for the delayed event! This was also our first time to the PGA National Resort, and it was incredible. They offered us a breakfast buffet that was amazing, with a large number of round tables for the families to use. After breakfast, they offered different activities for the kids to participate in. Kiersten had a total blast, getting to enjoy each activity with her friends. Such a great experience for everyone that attended and can't wait for the next one!
