In April, we enjoyed sharing a house with some of our staff who are dear friends that have served alongside us in ministry for decades. We stayed just outside of Orlando, Florida for the annual Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Eastern North American Leaders Conference. The first couple days were spent in celebration and memory of the life of Loren Cunningham, the founder of YWAM. I credit my life of serving Jesus to this amazing God fearing man.

During the conference we had the opportunity to present Prayer Stations at a workshop and it was exciting to see the response. Several YWAM locations added a Prayer Station to their evangelism arsenal. It was a great week of learning from David Hamilton and being able to see so many friends and colleagues that we have not seen in a long time - some that we hadn’t seen for 40 years!

Just a few weeks later, Ron, Kiersten and I were off on another Prayer Stations road trip. Along the way, we were able to stop for an overnight visit with our friends Peter and Linda Warren who have served in YWAM for over 45 years. It was wonderful to sit, talk and pray with them as they poured so much wisdom into our hearts in just a few short hours.

Then it was off to Asheville, North Carolina where we were able to stay with Ron’s Mom (Dottie) and have a little visit with the family. Dottie is healing from her 5 surgeries, that spanned 9 months, although there have been some setbacks along the way. Thank you for praying with us for her continued healing from her jaw surgeries and her open heart surgery.

We were looking forward to meeting with a group of pastors while we were in Asheville, however while we were there those meetings were postponed to September. The good news is that change will also avail us another opportunity to visit Dottie and the family fairly soon.

One of those connections is Turning Point USA, the organization that was founded by Charlie Kirk. Candace Owens has now partnered with their organization. One of their Regional Directors is in communication with Ron about Prayer Stations being a part of their events. We are so thrilled!

Over the last few months, Ron has been working on a new design for our Prayer Station bags. We were so excited to receive 500 of the new bags last month. With the help of our nephews Aidan and Liam, and our personal helper Kiersten, we are now working on finding spaces to store them, but hopefully not for long! We can’t wait to see them filled with all the Prayer Station supplies and sent out into the world for prayer evangelism!

This past month Ron and I started offering LIVE Prayer Station training via Zoom calls to anyone that purchased a Prayer Station. We realize that we can’t show up in person everywhere, but with the ease of technology we can offer to be present and answer any questions. It’s been received so well and we love making this kind of connection with those that are excited to take their Prayer Station out to their communities!

In our last letter we shared with you about the possibility of seeing Prayer Stations in Dollywood. They loved the Prayer Station Flag that Ron designed with their branding and at present we are still awaiting news of the approval from those that make the final decision, hopefully by the end of the Summer - pray with us! How awesome will it be to see families come to the park for fun and find Jesus too!

Our beautiful family keeps growing!!! On May 27, 2024 at 3:52am we welcomed our first grandson (2nd grandbaby), Austin Riley Setran, who weighed 6 lbs, 5 oz and was 21 inches long! Caleb, Diana and Ayla were so happy to welcome precious Austin to their family! Ayla and Austin are exactly 19 months apart. Ron and I absolutely LOVE our two sweet grandbabies! There is nothing like being a Mimi and Farfar!

Three years ago Ron and I were both certified as Personal Life Coaches. Encouraging, challenging and championing others on to fulfill the great purpose God has for their lives has always been a part of our DNA and ministry. This past Spring God encouraged us to get our curriculum fully prepared, which we did! God is already opening awesome doors for us to pour into the lives of others and it really lights us up! We enjoyed a lovely visit from Ron’s cousin (the “Professor”) and his wife - Dave and Holly Setran. Dave has been a Professor at Wheaton College for over 25 years. They treated us to a delicious dinner and we spent hours talking, laughing and catching up! We would have loved more time - so we are hoping to make some church and ministry connections in the Chicago area so that we can make one of our Prayer Station road trips up there in the near future!
