I was asked to write a quick devotional for the upcoming Prayer Station board meeting. Hope you enjoy and God speaks to your heart as you read on.

Devotional: “Faith in the Fire – Learning from Job”
Good morning.
This turned out to be a timely devotional. I am currently reading through the Bible chronologically with Anita, and Job was the passage we just recently delved into.
Given my situation this past year, I found some key principles that God has used to speak to me directly, and I’m sure you can apply them as well. I know you all know the story of Job, how he was “blameless and upright,” a man who feared God and turned away from evil. He had everything anyone could want — family, wealth, respect and health. And all of it was stripped away, at the same time.
God has perfect timing, as always.
But even when Job stood in the ashes of his life, surrounded by confusion and pain, Job said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
That’s a powerful moment. Job didn’t deny his pain… he grieved deeply. But he still chose to trust that God was sovereign.
Job may not have received the answers to all of his questions. What he did get was a deeper understanding of who God is. In Job 42, he says, “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you”.
Through suffering, Job’s faith wasn’t destroyed, it was refined. He came to know God in a more personal and powerful way. And that’s a lesson for us in ministry, and for us personally: when life feels out of control, God still holds everything together.
In ministry, we often meet people in the middle of their own “Job moments” — when they’ve lost someone or something, when they’re hurting, when they’re questioning why. And in those moments, we have the opportunity to show them that God still sees them, still loves them, and still has a plan.
That has been something personal for me. Going from Covid, to GBS, it is hard sometimes to not wonder… Why me? Asking God if I had done something wrong, as if it was a punishment or penalty. Have any of you ever gone through those moments in time?
Job’s story ends with restoration — not just in doubling his possessions, but a renewed relationship with God. That’s the same hope we can carry into every prayer, every outreach, every conversation.
In today’s world we have a huge opportunity before us. I cannot remember a time where it seemed that we were surrounded by evil as much as we are today:
We live in a world where being a man or woman is in question, where a church service is interrupted by a celebrity looking for a recordable moment, where the breakdown of law is celebrated, people actively try to hide gang members, murderers, child molesters and rapists, judges let these evil people back out on the street with no fines or jail time, and the list goes on and on.
I actually just read an article this week that exposed Denmark for forcing sterilization on the women of Greenland, without their knowledge, from 1966 thru 1992. I literally could not believe it. That means that for population control purposes, these people felt it was ok to make a decision like that? It is unreal.
We are also watching as the US is trying to take over Greenland (something I in my lifetime would never have even considered. I still watch incredulously at this), all of this in the midst of increasing tensions between Russia, China and Europe.
My daily prayers have certainly evolved over the past year. There seems to be more behind my prayers for safety and security for my family. Can you relate?
So today, as we plan, strategize, and dream for the year ahead, let’s remember that everything we do rests on that same foundation: God is sovereign.
He is good even when we don’t understand. He restores even when we’ve lost everything.
And He calls us to remain faithful, knowing that our Redeemer lives, just as Job declared.
I am resolving to be steadfast like Job. Let’s keep trusting that the same God who met Job in the ashes is the same God who will guide us in revival.
Our family had a great time together at Christ Fellowship for the Christmas Eve Service. Can't wait to get my legs back and rejoin the worship team!

It has been quite interesting to witness all that has transpired since the passing of Charlie Kirk. People up in arms, on both sides, and that is what I would like to touch on today.
Everyone has their own perspective on just about anything you can think of, from music to current events, religion, the list goes on and on. Personal life experience, family, relationships and more have the potential to shape someone’s perspective on how they think and feel about everything in life. I was brought up in a conservative family that was very committed to the local church, and the way I was raised definitely had a positive impact on my life, most importantly on my relationship with Jesus Christ.
For those of us that have a personal relationship with Jesus, we understand that when it comes to perspective, He helps to define perspective for us. We tend to see beyond the surface reasoning as to how and why people feel the way they feel, or see things from their own personal perspective.
Consider the divide between the right and the left. There is clearly more going on than how someone feels about a certain “policy”. When you consider immigration, what do you personally think about? Criminals crossing the border? People just trying to better their situation? The cost? Personal life experience? The different perspectives can be endless, and that is just one of many policies that are currently in debate.
What I know to be true is that you can’t take Jesus out of the equation. If you have Him in your life, your perspective on life and everything in it has changed. God’s word has given us a clear blueprint on how to live life, how to treat your fellow man, just about anything and everything that you would encounter is in there.
What I find interesting is seeing people that say they have Jesus in their life, but their personal lifestyle, statements or actions tell a different story. How many of you know exactly what I’m talking about? I'm surprised that people can criticize the current president so harshly, yet they won't hold others on their side accountable for having similar views and behaving in the same fashion, or even worse. Is self reflection not an option? I laugh out loud watching certain news segments where the journalist is caught in this exact scenario and have to come up with some gibberish to try and redirect.
I just read an article update on how Turning Point’s Faith division has doubled after Charlie Kirk’s death. That is an amazing statistic and shows that although many on the left showed how happy they were in his passing, thinking they had stopped the Turning Point movement, all they did was increase it tenfold. Literally thousands of people are coming to Jesus or returning to Him for the first time in years. God has taken a horrific situation and turned it into a huge movement of people committing their lives to Christ and that ripple effect will be felt for years to come.
If you have a moment, consider where you are at in your walk with Jesus. If you don’t have one, there are many people that you can talk to to help you get started. Maybe you had a relationship with Jesus at some point but have walked away. He is always ready with open arms to receive you again.

Yesterday evening we were blessed to be a part of the first annual South Florida Christian Leadership Network Banquet, headed by Frank Marciano of Sonlight Ministries. The event was held at the Palm Beach Hilton in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Prayer Stations was offered a networking table to connect with other ministries and showcase our different Prayer Stations. We had the opportunity to pray for quite a few people and made some excellent connections prior to the dinner.
The evening began with an amazing worship time, led by Robert and Palm Varnadore, which started with giving the Pledge of Allegiance, and included singing the National Anthem. We also held a special moment of silence to give honor to the recent passing of Charlie Kirk.
Pastor Todd Mozingo of Revive Church was the opening speaker and was followed by several other pastors and missionaries throughout the dinner. You could feel God’s presence throughout the event. I truly believe that the horrific shooting last week of Charlie Kirk has kickstarted a revival that is bringing people to a self assessment and realization of their need for God in a way that has not been seen for many years.
It was great to connect with the many familiar faces from other events, like Pray South Florida and Miracle on the Water.
We also provided an 11ft Prayer Station Flag to be raffled off and it was won by none other than Pastor Al Pigozzi from Plant a Seed Ministries in Fort Pierce, Florida.
We are definitely looking forward to next year’s event, and connecting with new people to bring the saving message of Jesus Christ out to the masses.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
I am sure most of you would agree that this has been a very irregular, and emotional week. Those of us that are followers of Jesus watched in horror as Charlie Kirk's life was taken by someone that clearly had been influenced by evil. We all have witnessed an extremely wide spectrum of responses, and that is what I wanted to touch on here.
If you have spent any time online, I am sure you have seen the completely immoral and evil responses by those who clearly do not have identity in Christ. Teachers losing their jobs, people getting taken out of the military, the list is growing long of people getting their due for posting inappropriate videos and posts, celebrating in one's murder.
This morning as I watched yet another video of someone that posted a quick celebration, wearing a very colorful outfit, colored hair, colored lashes, etc. I had a sudden thought… where is she getting her identity from?
You may immediately be throwing out your own answer… one of the many different "communities" that wear similar attire, and each of these groups could certainly be contributing factors. But the one clearly missing factor is her having an identity in Christ.
I am sure we would all agree that if you are not a follower of Jesus, then you are "left" to try and join a group that will take you in. Everyone wants to feel connected, wanted, to be a part of something. The problem comes when you are looking to the world for your identity.
There are many places in the Bible that Believers look to gain understanding in what it means to be in relationship and have identity with Jesus, and be one of his followers.
For instance, Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
When you see these individuals posting their videos and tweets, do you get any sense they are following the fruits of the Spirit? I would then ask, what are we doing to reach these people for Jesus?
One answer is the Prayer Station ministry, which offers the opportunity to reach people in your community with free prayer. Through the course of conversation and prayer, it opens the door for people to potentially hear the Good News of Jesus Christ for the first time, or in a way that they have never heard it before.
If this is the first time you are hearing about this ministry, please check it out at prayerstations.org. Thousands of churches, ministries and individuals have purchased their own Prayer Station so they can go out and reach people for Jesus Christ in their own communities. It is an amazing, successful ministry and there are thousands upon thousands of people that have come into new relationship with Him as a direct result of people simply obeying His command to "Go out and preach the Gospel".
If you have an interest in getting a Prayer Station for your community, feel free to reach out directly to me (ron@prayerstations.org) and I will be happy to talk to you.
Lets all get out and bring people back to relationship with Jesus!
I am very excited to see the progress the last few months. Going from completely paralyzed from the waist down, to yesterday taking my first steps. God is so good.
My last diagnosis was GBS with a 2 to 3 year recuperation outlook. I decided that I was going to beat that expectation with God's blessing and hard work. My goal was to be able to walk my daughter down the aisle in February of 2026.
Based on this last milestone, I am going to make it, God willing!
